Usability & accessibility review

Web site usability is all about making the tasks that a user wants to complete on a site easy to accomplish.

We carefully considered the design of ASL Personnel's old site from the user's perspective. A key outcome of this was the addition of a 'search' box to the main menu bar on every page. This offers users a straightforward way to complete what is one of the most popular tasks when visiting the site: searching for job vacancies.

We also examined the site from a technical viewpoint and offered a set of recommendations based on these findings. The new site complies with many of the recommendations of the Web Accessibility Initiative. This means it is more likely to be easy to use for computer users with disabilities. Full web design and rebuild

We redesigned and rebuilt the ASL Personnel site while maintaining the existing functionality. We created a simple, yet clean and professional design for the site with an emphasis on the information contained within. The whole process was turned around in under three weeks. Search engine optimisation consultancy and implementation

After delivering the newly-designed site, we helped ASL Personnel get the most out of their new asset by advising them on achieving a high search engine ranking.

We reviewed the copy text for the web site as it was sent to us by ASL Personnel. This ensured that the site content maximised the chances of achieving a high search engine ranking. We also managed meta-data (hidden text which describes the web site to a search engine) and key words so that the phrases most important to ASL Personnel were prioritised.
